Being a Raider means embracing inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and finding a home both on and off the field. Where everyone, regardless of experience, is welcome to play, connect, and compete.

Pitch locations

Pre-Season Training takes place at John Archer Way (Wandsworth Common), and our league teams are based at pitches across central and south London.
 
Fixtures for the London Softball League, which Raiders teams compete in, take place across numerous locations in London; visit the LSL website for a full list of current locations. For each team’s home ground, check out the Teams page.

Training

Training kicks off in March to prepare us for the season ahead. We start with conditioning drills and warm-ups, as well as different aspects of the game. Sessions wrap up with a casual game to help you get back into the swing of things.


These sessions are also where team captains observe and select players for their teams, so it's a great opportunity to showcase your skills!

You’ll train alongside players of all levels, making it a perfect time to reconnect with the club, refine your abilities, and enjoy a post-training pub trip.


We also have guest coaches and specialised sessions for areas like hitting and pitching. Stay updated via our socials and WhatsApp group! Contact the General officers if you'd like to be added to the group.

Fees

The Club offers two membership levels plus discounted full memberships. Full membership is required to play as a regular team member.


If unsure, you can start with Casual membership and upgrade later by paying the difference.
We believe in inclusivity - if cost is a concern, please contact the Treasurer to discuss options.

  • Tournament fees are self-funded.

  • After one season, members should buy their own glove.

We do a bulk team order every year before the season for selected items, if you would like extras or other items they can be purchased from our online shop provided by Baseball Outlet. (Link below)

Customisations
There are both customisable and non-customisable items:


Customisable Items:

  • Your name and number will be printed on the back. 



  • Your name can be real, a nickname, or other 
(no offensive or inappropriate words).



  • Use only your club-assigned number. 
If unsure, ask the Club Managers.



Non-Customisable Items:

  • These come with standard Raiders branding.
